About The Role

At TPXimpact, we believe in people-powered transformation. We are looking for two exceptional Senior Partners to lead, shape and grow our presence across the Place and Infrastructure ecosystem — spanning land use planning, energy and net zero, transport, and the green environment.

Whether you're deeply rooted in public policy, have cut your teeth in delivery or business development, or you're a specialist in the built environment, transport, energy systems or green infrastructure, what matters most is your ability to identify and grow meaningful opportunities at the intersection of digital transformation and place.

This is a high-impact growth and leadership role — you’ll have the mandate, autonomy and backing to build long-term relationships, craft compelling propositions, and convert strategy into revenue and sustainable delivery outcomes.

We welcome candidates with either blended experience across delivery and sales/growth, or a specialism in strategic business development, provided it's grounded in real understanding of how digital, design and data can improve place and  the built environment and public outcomes.

Responsibilities

Delivering Growth

  • Lead the identification, pursuit, and conversion of new opportunities across one or more domains: planning, housing, energy/net zero, transport or environment.

  • Secure a minimum of £1m+ annual revenue via consultancy, technology or design-led projects.

  • Cultivate relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders across public, private and third sectors.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with cluster and sector leads, marketing, and delivery teams.

  • Shape and deliver compelling pitches and proposals for complex (£1-10m+) programmes.

  • Position TPXimpact’s full-service capabilities, from agile delivery and service design to digital platforms and infrastructure data.

Account and Project Delivery and Leadership

  • Act as strategic advisor to key accounts; maintain high levels of trust with clients.

  • Support transition from sales to delivery, ensuring delivery teams are equipped with insights and context.

  • Where appropriate, take an active leadership role during mobilisation or critical phases of project delivery.

Corporate Leadership

  • Contribute to the Place and Infrastructure Cluster

  • Shape internal investment priorities (e.g. skills development, recruitment or campaign design).

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to others in the growth or delivery functions.

  • Drive internal alignment between growth and delivery across digital, data, technology and transformation disciplines.

Dimensions

  • Budget Target - £1-3m p.a. For established sector / cluster

  • Problem solving responsibility and complexity - Able to secure significant new business to contribute to in-year growth and blue sky.

  • Change management requirements - Expected to take about one day a week wherever necessary to develop new business or secure a client, especially for large new wins.

  • Internal / External interactions

  • Strategic timeframe working towards - Able to secure substantial new long-term business on an annual basis, creating at least one new scaled business partnership per year.

About You

  • We’re looking for people with diverse built environment sector experience and shared values. You may come from:
  • Central/local government (e.g. planning, decarbonisation, transport innovation)
  • Utility or infrastructure organisations
  • Built environment, planning or transport consultancies
  • Technology companies with a track record in built, natural and infrastructure projects

Professional knowledge and experience

  • Proven track record of securing and  leading consultancy, transformation or technology projects.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement, policy levers and funding models in your chosen domain.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments — from Whitehall to town halls.
  • Confident in digital/design topics, from user research and agile delivery to data and tech infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working in high ambiguity and shaping opportunities from nascent client needs.
  • Experiencing of facilitating delivery to a high standard to ensure we’re helping clients achieve their desired outcomes
  • Experience of utilising delivery leadership to seek further opportunities to provide value to clients and proactively generate new leads
  • Confident and experienced in the unique challenges of transformation in the built environment context

Behaviours and PACT values

  • Entrepreneurial and strategic thinker who sees patterns and possibilities across sectors.
  • Naturally collaborative: builds trust quickly with clients, colleagues and partners.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong commercial instincts.
  • Inclusive leadership style that supports others to thrive.
