About The Role

 

Are you able to flex strategy and delivery? This role is strategic and hands on, 20% strategy 80% delivery. You will lead and develop the events marketing activity for the whole of TPXimpact defining and crafting how we will engage with our audiences; from clients to investors, from prospective employees to our communities.


This role requires an experienced events professional who can deal with complexity and ambiguity whilst strategising, sourcing, organising and delivering events that will build the profile of TPXimpact. You’ll need an excellent grasp of event planning and execution, digital marketing disciplines and be very competent in using digital tools for promotion.


You need to be highly organised, creative, and sweat the small stuff. This role requires tenacity and focus and is a key enabler to support the growth of the business across the public, private and third sectors.


You’ll be expected to be where the action is, so expect to travel when in person events are on.


 

About You

Responsibilities

  • Lead and define event marketing strategy and overall event marketing plan and activity, this includes organising and delivering speaker and owned events, both online and in person.
  • Lead and manage the promotions, communications and branding aspects of events.
  • Lead and manage the measurement of attribution and return on investment across the whole TPXimpact events ecosystem.
  • Work with the Head of Brand and Content to develop an event strategy that supports the business-wide goals.
  • Lead and manage the Events Manager to support the delivery of our events series.
  • Lead and pitch creative concepts for event scopes, partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Lead and develop the planning process, content development, logistics, catering, av and registration processes and production for events.
  • Select, negotiate and manage our external suppliers; project managing, coordinating measuring output and quality control.
  • Lead the preparing of reports and presentations to stakeholders after the event.
  • Collaborate and build great relationships with our internal stakeholders, external partners and agencies, working collaboratively with colleagues from all areas of the business.
  • Be onsite to execute owned events to ensure everything goes to plan. 

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in event strategy, management and delivery.
  • Proven experience in organisation and project management. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Proven leadership experience in company of scale and complexity.
  • Proven experience in B2B event management
  • Digital native having digital marketing experience and competence in using digital tools for promotion and execution of event activity.
  • Attention to detail - the small stuff matters
  • A proactive problem solver, able to deliver solutions
  • Application of creative thinking to enhance events experience.
