About The Role

This is a role for someone who’s been closely involved in public sector transformation—and who’s now ready to shape the kind of work they want to see in the world. You’ve worked in or with organisations like government departments, NHS trusts, local authorities or national charities, and you understand how real change happens: slowly, collaboratively, and with the right people in the room.

As a Senior Partner at TPXimpact, your focus will be on growing the right work in the right places. You’ll do that by building and deepening relationships with senior stakeholders, exploring new ideas with prospective clients, and identifying opportunities where we can make a meaningful difference. You’ll already have a strong network in one of our core sectors—and you’ll keep developing it by being visible, curious and active in your field.

This isn’t a desk-based role. You’ll be out meeting people, leading conversations, shaping opportunities and helping clients imagine what’s possible. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to turn insight into impact—designing proposals, influencing strategy and helping us grow in ways that stay true to our purpose and strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior leaders in client organisations, understanding their challenges and identifying ways TPXimpact can genuinely help.
  • Spotting new opportunities and shaping compelling solutions that align with our mission to create meaningful change through digital transformation.
  • Leading conversations, pitches, and presentations that help clients see the potential in partnering with TPXimpact.
  • Sharing ideas and insights internally to shape the future direction of our company’s capabilities and market presence.
  • Representing TPXimpact externally, through thought leadership, participating in events, writing blogs, or sharing your perspective in your networks.
Dimensions
  • Strategic timeframe working towards - Able to secure substantial new long-term business on an annual basis, creating at least one new scaled business partnership per year.
  • Problem solving responsibility and complexity - Able to secure significant new business to contribute to in-year growth and blue sky.
  • Change management requirements - Expected to take about one day a week wherever necessary to develop new business or secure a client, especially for large new wins.
  • Internal / External interactions
  • About You

    Professional knowledge and experience

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Significant experience and credibility in digital consultancy or transformation. You’re comfortable working with senior-level stakeholders and genuinely enjoy helping organisations find solutions to complex problems. You may come from a consulting background, or you could currently be in a leadership role within a public sector or highly regulated organisation looking for a new challenge.
    • A track record of business development and realising new commercial opportunities. The key success measure will be increased footprint and perceived value in your cluster, and revenue generation is central to that.
    • Experience building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, helping them navigate significant change.
    • Deep understanding of the policy areas, challenges, and funding landscape specific to your cluster and proven experience engaging with relevant stakeholders and maintaining a strong network at multiple levels from strategic leadership to operational teams.
    • The ability to articulate client challenges and frame them within the context of your cluster's priorities and pressures, enabling colleagues to deliver impactful solutions.
    • Expertise in your cluster and sector’s service delivery standards and technology compliance, including the UK government's service standard and technology code of practice.
    • Familiarity with TPXimpact's full-service offering, including tailoring presentations and proposals to address specific cluster needs and priorities. You’ll be comfortable positioning our full-service offering that spans technology, product, digital transformation, design, delivery, digital experience and automation. You’ll build a solid personal network with colleagues across TPX to ensure you understand that offer; work with capability leads and other divisions to inform and influence capability area/divisional strategies to align to market/client needs.
    • You’ll hold direct relationships with those owning our work, but also their peers and superiors. It is often a point of escalation. Those relationships will be professionally intimate: i..e. You’ll be sufficiently well trusted to have offline conversations which contribute to our judgement / decision making.
    • You’ll build a strong sense of credibility and high levels of trust with clients, and give confidence to TPXimpact staff and associates about the work we deliver and how we deliver it.
