About The Role

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to be part of the Delivery Team at TPXimpact. You will support delivery and product managers on projects, bringing together design, technical, and data analysis skills to understand client contexts, pain points, and needs, enabling genuine beneficial change.

 

Dimensions

  • Headcount: Part of the Delivery Team, working with various team members including Delivery and Product Managers .
  • Resource complexity and nature of work teams: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors to ensure high performance .
  • Problem solving responsibility and complexity: Investigate problems, analyse options, and provide recommendations for solutions. Engage in business analysis to define requirements and processes .
  • Change management requirements: Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of TPXimpact projects. Implement business improvement processes and optimise services .
  • Internal / External interactions: Create and engage stakeholder relationships, work with stakeholders to identify objectives, and manage stakeholder relationships effectively .

Responsibilities

We're looking for a natural problem-solver to be the vital link between our clients' needs and our delivery teams. In this role, you'll ensure we’re not just building things right, but more importantly, building the right thing.

Problem Finding & Analysis 🔎

  • Deeply understand complex business and user challenges, investigating the root causes of problems and mapping out systems and processes to find clarity.

  • Translate ambiguity into action by defining clear, measurable goals and success criteria that the entire team can rally behind.

  • Use a blend of qualitative and quantitative data to champion user needs, ensuring our solutions are grounded in evidence and research.

  • Look ahead to identify potential risks and opportunities, using your analytical skills to help the team navigate challenges proactively.

Communication & Collaboration 🤝

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, team members, and users, ensuring everyone feels heard and is aligned on the vision.

  • Facilitate productive conversations and workshops, expertly navigating different viewpoints to build consensus and drive decisions forward.

  • Act as a key communicator, tailoring your message to your audience and ensuring a shared understanding exists between technical and non-technical team members.

  • Work as an embedded and active partner within the delivery team, contributing to a positive culture and the successful delivery of projects, both large and small.

Delivery & Improvement 🌱

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to reflect, adapt, and refine its processes.

  • Coach and mentor team members on agile and lean principles, helping everyone apply practical techniques for working more effectively.

  • Ensure the quality of our output by contributing to the definition of test conditions and analysing results to confirm that solutions meet the defined goals.

  •  Support senior leadership (including Delivery Managers and Product Managers) by providing clear insights and assistance to help achieve strategic goals.

 

About You

Professional knowledge and experience

Essential

  • Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary delivery team to assist the team's successful project delivery
  • Analyse and document business requirements, options, and recommendations for change
  • Experience of AI tools
  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements and service needs to drive process improvements and support the development of models, identifying key differences between current and future-state business situations.
  • Supporting business data needs eliciting from relevant sources and analysing data quality and integrity, focusing on leveraging AI tools where applicable.
  • Applying appropriate techniques to analyse and document options and recommendations for change, presenting information in a manner appropriate to the audience using data visualisation tools and AI insights. 

Desirable

  • Previous consulting experience
  • Experience implementing digital transformation in public sector environments
  • An understanding of the GDS Service Standards and DDaT Framework
  • An appreciation of how to engage with often challenging clients in a fast paced environment where requirements can change quickly
  • Experience of applying Business Analyst tools and techniques in a flexible manner

  • Business improvement process: Experience in analysing services and processes, identifying and implementing opportunities for optimisation.
  • Business modelling: Ability to model solutions using appropriate techniques
  • Business process testing: Ability to report on system quality and collect metrics
