About The Role

We are looking for an Automation Consultant who will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting automation solutions for TPXimpact’s clients using tools such as Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate Desktop, and UiPath. This role will play a crucial part in driving efficiency and innovation by implementing intelligent automation solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop automation workflows, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide delivery and support of automated processes that align with TPXimpact’s standard automation delivery phases.
  • Discovery: Review and map backlogged processes as demonstrated by the client. Work with the Growth and Client Services Team to support quoting and effort estimation for automation builds. Analyse suitable automation technologies (Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath) and highlight additional tools such as AI or process capture solutions to enhance innovation and efficiency.
  • Design: Draft and agree on the Process Definition Document (PDD) with the client, define scope, and design the automation solution. Ensure full visibility of the PDD within TPXimpact.
  • Design: Production of Solution Definition Document (SDD) detailing the technical solution, including architecture, design, components, and integration points.
  • Build: Develop the automation iteratively, demonstrating and discussing progress with client SMEs and TPXimpact teams. Capture requirements, upskill stakeholders, and share knowledge throughout the process.
  • Test: Engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the client and TPXimpact team, ensuring all automation pathways are fully tested and signed off by the client owner.
  • Deploy: Implement the client automation into the live environment, monitor scheduled cases, and provide hyper-care for a smooth transition.
  • Support: Offer dedicated process support for fixes, changes, and knowledge sharing with the client. Maintain up-to-date records of fixes and changes in TPXimpact’s Jira system for transparency.
  • Production of Operating Processes Document for operating and maintaining the RPA solutions, including troubleshooting steps, monitoring guidelines, and escalation procedures.
  • Provide technical support to TPXimpact’s business applications, growth, and client services teams, assisting with bid documentation and the identification of automation backlogs.
  • Participate in regular client account meetings to support and provide technical expertise.

Professional knowledge & experience

Essential skills & experience

  • Experience in designing and deploying automation solutions using Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis and optimisation.
  • Proven track record of delivering automation projects from concept to deployment.
  • Experience with process discovery, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in automation development, testing, and deployment methodologies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of automation governance, security, and compliance requirements.
 
Desirable Skills & Experience
 
  • Experience with UiPath automation.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or VBScript.
  • Experience with OCR and surface automation techniques.
  • Understanding of CSS selectors.
  • Experience with AI-based automation enhancements.
