About The Role

As an Umbraco .NET developer at TPXimpact Digital Experience Division, you’ll be working as part of a multi disciplinary delivery team supporting clients in the not-for-profit, higher education, cultural and public service sectors.

Working closely with other members of the Digital Experience Division, you’ll spend most of your time collaborating with UX consultants, researchers, strategists, visual and content designers - as well as developers, delivery managers and client teams.

Your role is a mid-level, specialist position within our Digital Experience Division, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You’ll be responsible for developing cutting edge websites and web solutions to clients using the Umbraco content management system.

About You

Essential skills & experience

  • Existing knowledge of developing with the Umbraco CMS
  • Hands on bespoke development with a focus on .NET and associated platforms and frameworks
  • Approaching client challenges with creativity and to innovate when appropriate rather than always using the same solution to a problem
  • Interest in developing and maintaining APIs and leveraging .NET technologies to do this
  • You’ll be interested in pushing yourself and developing specialist knowledge. We encourage our consultants to go to networking events, training and conferences; in fact we have a separate budget and 10% time allowance for innovation and things that will make you better!
  • You’ll be happy to communicate with clients, perhaps a small bit of travel, but most importantly, be a problem solver with a proactive approach to getting stuff done.
  • Working as part of a Scrum team to deliver projects - participating in all Scrum meetings
  • You’ll have good experience with HTML5, CSS3, and cross-browser/device compatibility; and a good understanding of accessibility.

  • Working knowledge of CI/CD and build automation or a desire to learn this
