About The Role

 

The Talent Consultant is a reliable in house recruitment specialist, responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across our core capabilities: Design, Delivery, Technology, and Data. This role focuses on operational excellence throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring the company can meet its multidisciplinary digital workforce needs while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.


You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction through to onboarding, including initial screening and structured assessments across a varied portfolio of vacancies. This role sits within a wider collaborative People team, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to TPXimpact’s cross-capability growth.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Lifecycle Management: Manage full-cycle recruitment workflows across a diverse portfolio of vacancies spanning Design (e.g., Product, Interaction, Service Design), Delivery (e.g., Agile Delivery, Product Management), Technology (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Testing), and Data (e.g., Analytics, Data Science).
  • Assessment: Screen, interview, and assess candidates effectively against predefined business, technical, and practice-specific requirements.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant recruitment data, applicant tracking pipelines, and analytics within the ATS (ePloy) and HR systems.
  • Sourcing: Execute proactive sourcing strategies, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter outreach, and passive candidate engagement across different disciplines to effectively pitch the benefits of TPXimpact.
  • Talent Pipelining: Support the maintenance of robust talent pools and pipelines for critical, frequently hired digital roles.
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide localised market data, benchmarking context, and hiring updates to hiring managers across various business units.
  • Hiring Guidance: Guide and support hiring managers on structured interview techniques, objective assessment rubrics, and candidate evaluation best practices.
  • Process Optimisation: Partner with line managers and coordinators to ensure seamless interview scheduling and look for continuous improvements in candidate touchpoints.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver an exceptional, candidate-centric experience across all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, tailored to different professional communities.
  • DEI Integration: Implement and support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within recruitment workflows (e.g., using bias-free language, ensuring diverse slates).
  • Project Support: Support the delivery of the wider People Plan on specific recruitment-led projects and initiatives.

  • Resource Complexity & Nature of Work Teams: Works independently within a matrix structure, collaborating with hiring managers, practice leads, and the wider People team. Requires strong time management, context-switching skills, and the agility to balance multiple distinct vacancy tracks simultaneously.
  • Problem Solving Responsibility & Complexity: Acts to solve immediate recruitment challenges, sourcing constraints, and scheduling blockers independently. Recognises when barriers require escalation and seeks guidance from senior talent team members on highly complex or unprecedented cases.
  • Change Management Requirements: Actively adopts and embeds recruitment-related change initiatives, including the rollout of updated compliance rules, new ATS tools, and progressive inclusive hiring methods.

Internal / External Interactions:

  •  Internal Partners directly with hiring managers, capability leads, and People team peers across Design, Delivery, Tech, and Data to deliver resourcing needs.
  • External: Engages confidently with candidates, job boards, professional networks, and industry communities to source diverse talent.
  • Strategic Timeframe Working Towards: Focused on immediate to short-to-medium term delivery (0–6 months view), managing live open vacancies while contributing to immediate talent pipeline health.

About You

Professional knowledge and experience

  • Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment lifecycle within Digital, Design, Delivery, Ops, Technology, Development, with a demonstrated track record of hiring professionals within a digital transformation, consulting or professional services environment from an agency or internal perspective. 
  • Broad, competent understanding of the distinct talent landscapes across design, delivery, tech, and data disciplines (e.g., understanding the difference between a Service Designer and a Product Manager, or a Data Engineer and a Software Developer).
  • Proven track record of applying proactive direct sourcing and headhunting methods to attract talent across multiple competitive fields.
  • Experience working collaboratively with a diverse group of hiring managers and cross-functional project teams to achieve operational targets.
  • Familiarity with tracking baseline recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source mix) to maintain high data accuracy and inform stakeholder syncs.
  • Practical understanding of inclusive hiring frameworks and experience applying DEI principles to sourcing and selection across different disciplines.
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition projects such as Employee Value Proposition, hiring manager capability improvements or reporting refinements or a desire to work on such projects is desirable. 

 

Technical Skills

  • Competency working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); prior experience with ePloy is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in advanced sourcing methodologies (LinkedIn Recruiter licenses, Boolean syntax, and discipline-specific talent pipelining platforms).
  • Comfort navigating digital collaboration suites (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, ATS reporting dashboards).
  • Knowledge of relevant UK Employment Laws and compliance baselines (e.g., Equality Act 2010, GDPR, Right to Work checks).
