About The Role

As an enthusiastic and proactive communicator, you will be a confident self-starter who can demonstrate how you have made a difference within a business environment and the impact that you have had on employee engagement. You will have an outcome focused approach and great knowledge and experience in using a wide range of communication channels and platforms. 


This role is offered on a job share basis, working 20 hours per week.


What you’ll do


You will develop and deliver the internal communications strategy, translating complex issues into engaging communications that help our people feel informed, engaged and inspired. Alongside reactive messages, you’ll create plans for proactive messaging that adds value and deepens our people’s understanding of our vision, purpose, and our strategic priorities. Through doing this you’ll help our people better tell our story to new and existing clients across the business.


You’ll create and manage communications plans that help to deliver our vision and that support and demonstrate our values and purpose. This will range from encouraging the adoption of new systems and processes, changes driven by our employee engagement activities, and also working with teams across TPXimpact to drive forward other initiatives such as equality, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing, as well as crafting talking points and video scripts for senior people, creating videos, podcasts and hosting internal webinars and events.


You’ll produce, write and distribute written, visual and audio communications and content and deliver through a variety of communication methods, using digital communications channels and intranet, and will analyse communications metrics to provide insights to refine communications approaches.


About You

About you


Alongside having excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to present information in clear, concise, and compelling ways you will also have excellent organisational and planning skills and be comfortable building relationships and providing a fresh approach to existing communication and engagement methods.


You’re unphased by jargon and relish the opportunity to transform complexity into something compelling and easy to understand. You’ll have a good eye for detail and accuracy and be comfortable giving considerate feedback. You’ll be comfortable communicating with a distributed workforce as well as face to face.


While thinking strategically, you enjoy being hands-on which often means having to prioritise multiple and competing activities. You’re a great team player, working with a collaborative approach you will enjoy working at pace, trying new ideas, and learning and improving as you go to achieve the best results.


With a digital mindset you know how to get the very best out of various channels and platforms — from straightforward emails through to Slack, Google Meet and video content you will either know your way around platforms or be keen to learn and keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technology.


You’ll be committed to developing an effective job sharing partnership and ensuring that there is good continuity and collaboration with colleagues and your job share partner.
