The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a wide range of L&D solutions. Continuously reviewing existing programmes and developing new solutions where current programs do not suffice or where business requirements change. This is a generalist L&D role with a focus on designing and implementing flexible learning interventions (through digital and other means) to meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
Main Accountabilities
- Carrying out capability assessments across the organisation
- Designing blended learning solutions
- Using digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programmes
- Applying adult learning theories to ensure employees get the best out of their development
- Designing a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and leadership programmes
- Driving a culture of continuous professional development (CPD)
- Facilitating learning interventions
- Creating a coaching culture in the organisation and with a focus on the manager as a coach
- Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to employees.
- Continuously review existing programmes and develop new solutions
- Work with external training providers and platforms in order to offer a suite of relevant training solutions.
- Collaborate with relevant colleagues across the organisation to develop training in response to our E,D and I agenda
- Collaborate with the People Team to develop learning interventions that meet the needs of the business.
- Source and deliver personal and career development content.
- Identify and develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders from across the business and externally, seek their input and collaborate with them to achieve successful delivery of L&D programmes
Key stakeholders will be: People Team, Internal Communications, leaders and managers across the organisation.
